I guide ski-touring and splitboard outings in Les Trois Vallées: first days on skins as well as more committed lines. As a State-certified instructor, I match the itinerary to your level, the weather and the snow.

We start from Courchevel, Méribel or Val Thorens. You do not need to be an expert: that is what the introduction is for. If you already ski off-piste, we look for longer, finer, better-judged days.

Putting skins on, managing the climb, learning kick turns, preparing the descent. A first guided outing to understand the movement, the pace and the terrain — without putting yourself at risk.

Longer tours, steeper slopes, route choice according to the bulletin. For skiers and splitboarders already at ease off-piste, who want to go further into the massif.

Splitboard instructor

Transitions, climbing in split mode, riding down. I guide splitboarders as I do ski tourers: the same mountain, another craft, the same standard.

Equipment

Is equipment included?

No. I do not provide the kit: skis or splitboard, skins, boots and poles are yours to arrange, usually by rental. I can advise on the choice, according to your level and the outing.

I always carry a spare airbag pack and an extra avalanche transceiver (ARVA), available if needed.

Safety and terrain

Every outing depends on conditions. I choose the itinerary, I read the terrain, I stop if needed. The State diploma covers mountain safety and off-piste — that is the frame for these days.
